Top Ten Tuesday: To Ten Authors I’ve Only Read Once (And Need to Read More From)

09.17.2014

Top Ten Tuesday

Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

This is last week’s Top Ten, but I like it better than this week’s: Top Ten is “Top Ten Authors I’ve Read Only Once But Need to Read More From”

I. Holly Black (I read The Coldest Girl In Coldtown a couple summers ago and loved it! I really need to read more from Holly.)

II. Tahereh Mafi (I read Shatter Me and loved it, but for somer reason have not continued with the series?!? I really should though.)

III. Markus Zusak (The Book Thief is one of my favorite books ever, so it would make sense that I would have read more of Markus’ work.  Nope, I really need to work on that).

IV. Wendy Wunder (The Probability of Miracles is the book that The Fault in Our Stars is for many.  I felt so connected to that story and really should read more from her).

V. Ransom Riggs (I adored Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and even own a copy of it’s sequel Hollow City and have yet to read it! GAHHHH).

VI. Cat Winters (I really liked In the Shadow of Blackbirds and can’t wait for Cat’s new book The Cure for Dreaming).

VII. Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (I never finished the Beautiful Creatures series…)

VIII. Jenny Han (I, surprisingly, have never read Jenny’s Summer series.  I really enjoyed To All the Boy’s I’ve Loved Before and while I’m anxiously awaiting the sequel I should read the Summer books and Burn for Burn).

IX. Lauren DeStefano (I read Perfect Ruin in one plane ride, so I’m praying that I like her other books)!

X. Jennifer L. Armentrout (I surprised myself by enjoying Obsidian, and have only heard good things about the rest of the series).
